In some of the pictures you can see fittings that I used to attached a garden hose tubestack. When I understood the real problem, continued to use this tubestack for another 10-is years of. This heat-exchanger tubestack was removed from a Perkins 6.3544 marine diesel engine about 2 years ago. I had purchased a new tube stack about 12 years, when misdiagnosed cooling problem.

I have cleaned out the tubestack and would not personally hesitate to re-install it. Non-Perkins parts are available for half the Perkins cost.
